The Taj Mahal Hat

This is one of my favourite pieces that I made in college ( before uni) its called the Taj Mahal Hat from my collection entitled the 'Regency the Raj and the Rave'

. The project was a synergy of influences from Indian symbolism and eighties counter culture fashion. Think Madonna, Boy George Leigh Bowery.

The fabric is hand devoure' velvet so lush! The background was created using rear projection to this day its still one of my favourite pieces.
